Where to find Indestructible Dog Toys

14th Aug 2012

With a fiesty Jack Russell as inpiration, Paws pet boutique was born in 1999. What better way to find indestructible dog toys, right? My tenacious terrier tested dog toys made from bullet-proof material, but alas my furry friend found that the sewn seams were not bullet-proof. We tried big hard ball toys, but he didn't have any interest in testing them. No squeak, no play. Over the years Paws pet boutique has offered many fabulous tough dog toys, bouncing toys, floating toys, soft toys, and eco-friendly dog toys but have never located the elusive indestructible dog toys. I feel strongly that dogs should have toys to play with so they don't chew shoes, rugs and furniture. It's part of life with a dog.

That being said, we are happy to share some super durable dog toys that are darn close to indestructible and soft! We like soft toys so they don't hurt dog's teeth and gums (a lesson learned after an expensive root canal on one of my terrier kids), but would like them to last more than a day or week. Check out our tough 15" lobster dog toys, 12" octopus dog toys and 10" yellow starfish toys that are made for real dog play!

All the fabric layers are bonded and sewn together multiple times with webbing sewn around the edge for more durability. As an added layer of safety, squeakers are sewn into pouches before they are added to the toy. Isn't that smart!? If you love playing by the water, these tough dog toys can go for a swim too! They float and are easy to machine wash if they pick up stink and sand during a day of play. Are these dog toys, indestructible? No, but you and your dog will have a fabulous time playing in life and will not have to replace toys as often. We are honest here at Paws pet boutique and feel these are the most durable soft dog toys we have found in 13 years.

On a final note, if you do find an indestructible dog toy, please do share!

Now make it a good day and play with your dog.
