Creating a Unique Pet Boutique
28th Jun 2012
A cat named B.J. (adopted from a shelter in Detroit) and a Jack Russell named Jonah inspired the creation of Paws pet boutique back in 1999. They made me realize how wonderful life is when you share it with a dog or cat. Our Annapolis pet boutique was established to offer hand-selected goods for dogs, cats and their people. We seek out products that are functional and fun but don't break the bank. Our business model is built on celebrating animals through the products we offer, the customer experience we share and dog-friendly events we create to support animal welfare groups. It's about making a difference in this life.
Our pet boutique is known for the amazing selection of unique dog collars. It's a fun and inexpensive way to add a little color to your day and your dog's. To keep things fresh, many of our customers enjoy having a special collar for each month. We believe in sourcing our products from local artists and small businesses whenever possible.
Recently we've focused on improving our pet store online. Whether you visited our pet store in Annapolis, or have never been to Maryland, you can still feel connected through our website and Facebook page. Many of our items can be found in our pet boutique online but feel free to reach out if you are seeking something specific. Our Paws team is knowledgeable and amazing!
While carrying unique goods for our clients is core, it's equally important our business is making a difference. Giving back to animal charities and regularly hosting fun, dog-friendly charity events runs through our mission. Additionally the schedule of dog-friendly events we put our hearts and souls into creating and hosting will make your dog's tail spin into a never ending wag. For the past 6 years our big fundraiser for the year has supported Animal Legal Defense Fund, which is a non-profit that protects the lives and advances the interests of animals through the legal system. The clients they represent (animals) are always innocent. If we can help improve how society as a whole treats and perceives animals, the world will be a better place. We adopted our dog Ben after ALDF freed him and 325 other dog's from a hoarder/puppy mill. So each year this important animal welfare group is a big part of our give-back events. From dog cruises to parade marches to yappy hours, we've done it all!
So celebrate your life with dogs, cats and Paws pet boutique. Let's work together to make a difference in this world for animals and the people who love them.
Thank you for your support!
