Annapolis ranks #3 in Dog-friendly Places - Dog Fancy Magazine

We've always known Annapolis, Maryland to be dog-friendly, but it fabulous to see our town listed as the 3rd most dog-friendly spot according to Dog Fancy Magazine's September 2012 issue. Everyday life always includes dog here.  One of our favorite parts of Paws is our dog-friendly events because it brings the pet community together and supports animal walfare charites.

When visiting Annapolis you're likely to meet Ella, the Chocolate Lab who "works" at Helly Hansen on Main Street, spot a Beagle named Allie sleeping in the window of the Sunglass Shop and of course enjoy a shy greeting from Jack Russell Ben who is the mascot at Paws pet boutique. The town is historic, quaint and very walkable, so it's a great place to enjoy the day with your dog. Many of the restaurants offer outside seating with your dog and you'll even find a Dog Menu with Paws pet boutique dog treats at The Federal House Bar and Grill! You can go boating with your dog on the Harbor Queen or enjoy the nearby park Quiet Waters where there is a small dog and big dog park enclosed with fencing. Many a hotel welcome dogs including Loews Annapolis Hotel, The Westin, The State House Inn and Scotlaur Inn Bed and Breakfast. So whether you're a local or just visiting, you'll fit in if you have your dog with you!

We think Annapolis has the best pet boutique too :-) ... Paws pet boutique has been welcoming guests for over 13 years and giving back to the community with our fun-raising events for charity. The Boutique strives to find unique dog gifts for those that love their dogs, as well as U.S. made cat gifts for those owned by their cats. Nautical collars are always a favorite in our seaside town.
