Paws pet boutique is more than just a business; it is a passion. Customers appreciate the "town-square" environment and Community Outreach activities, which are the foundation of our business and our passion.
Join us in raising awareness and funds for pet-related causes, while celebrating those furry ones that make the difference in our lives. Find out what's just happened and what's coming up. Make a tail wag; it will make a difference. Click here for information on other past events.
In 2008, Paws pet boutique is proud to have raised $18,000 for a variety of animal charities during our pet-friendly events throughout the year. Big thanks to all of you who supported our efforts this year. You made a difference!

Midnight Madness - Downtown Historic Annapolis
December 4 & 11
YES! Paws pet boutique will be open until midnight to share the holiday spirit and to help you find unique gifts for your 2 and 4 legged friends. These are some the favorite nights of the year for locals, because you are sure to bump into new and old friends. The town looks beautiful with twinkling lights...and free parking! Meters are free and the Hillman and Bladen Street Garage parking is free after 6 pm. Plus, a free shuttle service will be running between the Naval Academy Stadium parking lot and downtown. Enjoy live music drifting through town and maybe even spot Santa. Refreshments and smiles will be served at Paws pet boutique. Hope to see you!
Howl-iday Pet Photos at Paws
Thursday, November 20, 2008
"Pupparazzi" Jim Poor captured pets from behind his lens from 3 to 9 PM. Many folks now have a wonderful photo keepsake or are ready to send their photo holiday cards. From each photo sitting $2 was donated to a pet charity. Participants had a vote on which pet charity they would like to receive the donations from the evening. Pittbull Rescue was drawn as the winner. We must say that the 4 Pittbulls/Pittbull Mixes that joined us for photos throughout the day were some of the most well-behaved models! Thanks to all who joined us - it was fun.

"Meet & Greet" with the Local Artist behind Paws pet boutique's Holiday Cards -- Rosemary Williams
Saturday, November 22, 2008
Thanks to all who came out to chat with Rosemary and pick up some of her holiday cards. This is the third year we have enjoyed partnering with this local artist and dog-lover to create a special line of holiday cards that share smiles and well wishes. We love this year's four new designs. Cards can still be ordered online (click here) and are available at Paws pet boutique downtown. Share a smile with an Annapolis holiday card!
3rd Annual Little Ben’s Big Fundraiser Cruise
Friday, September 12 from 7 PM to 10 PM
over $10,000 was raised for ALDF!
We host this Cruise as our way of thanking Animal Legal Defense Fund for all they do improve the lives of animals. Our little Jack Russell terrier, Ben, was rescued, along with over 300 other dogs, from a puppy mill/hoarder that had them “living” in unthinkable circumstances. This is one of many court cases initiated by ALDF where they speak on behalf of the animals. Thanks to ALDF, Ben’s court case was won so he and all his former fur friends can now live in homes with love. Unfortunately the work continues, so join us in supporting ALDF. All proceeds from this Cruise for Compassion were donated to ALDF. Thanks to all who joined us!

"Go Cruising" Raffle Winner
We added a pre-Cruise raffle to add some fun this year. On August 12, Joy Tarbox was drawn as our winner of our "Dog-friendly Cruise Annapolis" Prize.
All raffle proceeds were included in our Cruise donation to ALDF.
Thanks to City Dock Coffee, Mary & Blanche!, Watermark, Wet Dog Cafe and
McGarveys Saloon & Oyster Bar for filling out a dog-friendly day in Annapolis with food, shopping, cruising on the water and more food. Of course Paws pet boutique threw in some goodies to keep tails wagging.
More Happy Tails Hour Benefits to Come!

Check back for more Paws events to come including our Paws 9-Year Anniversary Giveback Event on September 25 and Wag & Wine Tasting with Harry Browne's on September 14, 2008.
